The Chairperson of the Super Shongwe Memorial and Charity Trust thanks all who made generous donations in cash, clothing, toiletries and foodstuffs amounting to more than R 100 000.00 for presentation to the poor in the community of Atteridgeville after their much talked about and successful Charity Benefit Concert held on 10 November 2018 at the Atteridgeville Community Hall.
Through the charitable donations of many companies, groups and individuals the Trust was able to prepare and distribute hampers of foodstuffs, toiletry and clothing for 100 indigent families which were distributed through Bathokwa, Seaparankwe, Makgwaraneng Schools and the St Anne’s Catholic Church welfare department. In addition we assisted the Life Esidimeni patients at Weskoppies Mental Hospital, Leratong Hospice, Kingdom life Children and Youth Care Centre, Boikhutsong Place of Safety, Tswelelopele Special Day Care Centre for children with severe mental disabilities, Phuthabana Drop-in-Centre and the Lebuwe Centre for people with disabilities.
We are most grateful for the kind contributions. We are highly appreciative of all the support and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship for our future projects. Once more we thank you for partnering with us in bringing a Christmas cheer to the poor in our community.
