The Super Shongwe Memorial and Charity Trust granted the Atteridgeville Saulsbville Soccer Legends an amount of R 15 000.00 for their 2018 soccer development programme and a workshop. School boys and girls were taught football basics during Soccer Clinics conducted by the Legends.
During September 2018, we embarked on a schools road show to present football kits to the outstanding performers who participated in our recent Soccer Clinics. The clinics were followed by soccer tournaments whose purpose was to put into practice what was learned from the basics taught to the boys and girls during the soccer clinics.
The presentations at the schools were an experience full of emotions and excitement. The school staff members and other learners shared the moment with the achievers. The Soccer Legends present at the presentations were Nonhlanhla Mabusela, Freddie Makgahlela, Chesa Sibanda, Frank Ramashala and Patrick Dibetla. The young achievers were presented with soccer boots for their outstanding performance during soccer clinics.
